Dr. Appleyard served as the head of the allergy department at Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center—one of metropolitan Detroit’s leading ENT groups—and held the position of Section Chief of Allergy at Ascension St. John Hospital for 25 years. She was consistently recognized by her peers as a top physician, having been named an Hour Detroit Magazine Top Doctor 19 out of the last 20 years. In addition, she earned a 5-Star rating from The Physician Alliance and accreditation from The US Joint Commission for her clinical excellence.
In 2022, Dr. Appleyard relocated to Savannah to join the Coastal Allergy & Asthma team, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge, compassionate care, and a commitment to high-quality allergy and immunology treatment. She is thrilled to now serve the Coastal Empire community.
