I took my teenage son here for a second opinion because his pediatrician was not getting us anywhere. My son has had a long-suffering sinus infection for over a month now that also developed into an ear infection and headaches so bad it hurts to open his eyes and talk sometimes. Dr. Barengo was so very patient, kind, empathetic and determined to see my son get better. She demonstrated a high level of competence and expertise yet explained matters in a relational way that made it easier to comprehend. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and respectfully. I’m encouraged by her course of treatment for my son and that we will get answers and see improvement soon. I have more confidence in her as a brand new doctor for us than I have for some doctors we’ve seen for years. I highly recommend Dr. Barengo; you’d be blessed to be in her care.
