Dr. Barthel is the best doctor ever. We moved to Florida a year ago and she said “if you’re in town let me know and I’ll get you in”. Well I called a couple weeks ago stating I would be in town and they got me in! I hope I never have to change my OBGYN because my bar is set very high.

I was very nervous about my visit due to my past pregnancy. Dr. Barthel made me feel relaxed and heard.

Always love her! I walked into the drive and was told she was a little behind because she had to go to c-section this morning. My appt was at 10, and even after talking to her, which I never feel rushed, she always makes me feel like I’m her only patient for the day , I was done with my appointment and out of the office by 10:30. I swear she is super woman!

It's hard to find a doctor that you connect with, but Dr. Barthel is that needle in a haystack. I love her as my doctor.

Dr. Barthel is amazing. She has been a part of 2 high risk pregnancies and I truly felt cared for. We moved while we are having pregnancy number 3 but I still drive out to see Dr. Barthel, despite it being much further. Honestly, she listens and is there to be your voice of reason in some challenging situations. I can go on about how amazing she is, but you have to experience it yourself.

Dr. Barthel renewed my faith, that there are still, wonderful doctors. She listened and took her time with me. She is an incredibly intelligent and easy doctor to talk with!! I used to be in the medical field, snd have been so disappointed it for many years. Dr. Barthel is a shining example of how doctors should practice their medicine. Focus on the patient.

Dr. Barthel is wonderful!!! She has been the first doctor/Gyno I’ve been very comfortable with. I usually have a lot of pain during pelvic exams and she has made me feel so relaxed and the pain has subsided. I highly recommend her to others. I also travel outside Elgin from Sycamore and that is worth the drive!
