Personable and timely

Dr. Sawyer is genuinely the most kind and caring doctor anyone could ask for. When my son broke his arm and needed surgery, Dr. Sawyer stayed late at the hospital that evening to do the surgery after hours. He missed his son’s sports event so that my son could have his surgery the same day. Being able to have the surgery on the same day made it much easier for my son to start the healing process while avoiding the pain for a whole day waiting for surgery. Even during the appointment, he is so patient and will answer every question without making anyone feel rushed. Dr. Sawyer is a true blessing.

Dr. Sawyer is EXCELLENT!! He took a great deal of care listening to all of our concerns and ensured we understood everything regarding my 13 year old’s scoliosis. I was particularly impressed with his ability to engage with my teenager in a way that was empathetic and encouraging. She rarely feels comfortable speaking with physicians, but he put her at ease and she voiced all of her concerns. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr Sawyer is the best! Not only is he a highly qualified and skilled ortho but he is also kind and compassionate. Our latest visit with Dr. Sawyer was for my son's 6 week follow up on a spinal fusion but he has been our ortho for at least 10 years. While in the hospital and at every office visit he spends time with my son to make sure he's comfortable and feels informed about decisions. Most importantly every interaction involves good laughs! Dr Sawyer goes above and beyond for our family and we couldn't be more thankful for such a great doctor on our son's team!
