Not very friendly. He’s very blunt & to the point. He seems in a hurry & cuts you off when talking & makes me feel nervous & uncomfortable & I forget what my questions were to him!

He came in to check my mother’s ears because they were popping. He looked in her ears said they were clear. Never said anything about what the issue could be. My mom asked the hearing aid doctor and if she was still there. He said yes, asked for her hearing aids. He left the room and the hearing aid ladies came in to talk to us about new hearing aids. Doctor never came back. Very confusing.

I always have a positive experience from start to finish, all are well informed and caring. Dr Weingarten is very thorough and understanding, he always has answers for my problems and a way to improve my symptoms.

I was in the office for 2 hours and saw the DR for 2 minutes when he gave me my diagnosis before he even looked in my ear. That is not the care I was expecting. No office staff informed me the DR was running behind and they were not very helpful in guiding me to the correct check in counter. The audiologist who did my hearing test was excellent

This was my first time visiting this doctors . He understood exactly what my issue was, but he was too aggressive and had no compassion in regards to the pain I was in as he was treating me. When I return, I will most likely ask for another doctor

Everything was beautiful, timely they was concerned about my time. Clarifying the test excellent on all the levels

Doesn't listen to your concerns on what method of cleaning works best. Told me that he got out 100% of wax using the vacuum method, but later in the evening I still was getting a lot of wax out of oth ears. I told him when washes out my ears I don't get any residual wax, he ignored my concerns. I've shared this on more than one visit.

I waited 1 hour past my scheduled appointment time. When I finally saw the doctor he seemed rushed to get my visit over with and didn’t show much interest with my questions. I was a new patient and just felt like a number.

I've never been so insulted in my life by a Drs office who truely made me feel bad because I'm dying of cancer. There I was treated with no respect at all forced into hindering my ability to be safe,and the ability to breathe. I was insulted to the point of tears cause how dare I cough with progressed lung cancer. I had a mask on which made me sicker, but the person brought me a second mask adding further insult to a person already sick, and dying. They acted as if I was nothing but a inconvenience. And asked to not use the front door, but the back door. I now have had the experience of severe loss of dignity, loss of respect, felt like a slave must of felt , yes I am biracial,and felt oppressed. The staff attempted to follow the orders of their leader,but my rights were violated I should leave out of the back door . I will be contacting a attorney to see if I can sue for loss or dignity, and respect. Will report such behavior to all who will listen as a stage 4 cancer patient traumat

Very good and professional

My daughter’s appointment was at 1pm and we weren’t called into a room until 1:30pm. He saw her for roughly 2 minutes and was extremely rude. He yelled her at for looking at her phone as he felt that she wasn’t paying attention when she just glanced down at it. He barely examined her and did not provide any insight or helpful information. I will never go back to his office. It was the worst experience we have ever had.

This was my second visit with Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants the first time was ok. But this recent visit was absolutely horrible. The doctor did not seem to know any of my information even though he had access to my file. He needed to check my tonsils for my appointment. I have a very bad gag reflex so when he used the tongue depressor I gagged naturally. He was very annoyed by this and insisted that I was being childish. Even though I couldn’t control the issue. Then he proceeded to use the item again instead of just asking me to hold my head up and stick out my tongue. Which by the way was the method that ended up working. He was also very annoyed that another medical company told me come back to him in order to get a refill on my medical supplies. I cannot speak for the other doctors in this establishment but Dr. Weingarten was incredibly rude for the duration of my appointment and I would not recommend him. I’ve never seen a doctor care so little about their patients.

Great and real doctor

I waited for 1.5 hours, he was in the room for maybe 3 minutes and didn’t seem to care about my concerns for my child. I could also hear him get mean and angry with multiple nurses during my visit. I felt really bad for them.

Amazing and understandable

Disappointed in service. Gave me a hearing test, and a nasal spray that hasn’t worked before. Didn’t even do the scope of my nose. Felt like I was not taking seriously.

Took extra step and did a hearing test for me. Found I had meniere syndrome. Good news to get answers to what's been going on. All in one day. He's great!

I am completely disappointed a dissatisfied. Several occasions I’ve come to you about my dizzy spells recently. You originally diagnosed me with having vertigo, but when I came to you to get my FMLA papers signed because it has really been affecting my work, you told me you could not sign the papers because you were not sure about my diagnosis, and you only diagnosed me without testing. You then stated that I needed to come back during the time that my spells are happening. When I did that you pretty much dismiss me and told me to go to ER cause you did not have the proper things to give me the test that I need it and told me to get over-the-counter Dramamine unacceptable. I will be doing a survey with Beaumont Hospital concerning this behavior, and I am not returning. Have an amazing holiday season

After long wait of one hour , Doctor walked in only to give you 5 mins. He did not have time or interest to listen to your concerns. Just asked to answer his questions and concluded accordingly.

l was a walk in. No appt pain in my right ear Had years of wax removed. Left with no pain. Excellent hearing afterward procedure was uncomfortable but short lived Great experience. Also had hearing test. Good results. Staff was great. DR Weingarten has the magic touch. Bless you all

Our appointment was for 9:15 but we didn’t see the doctor until after 9:45. I didn’t expect to have to wait that long so early in the morning.

Awful Terrible bedside manor Very aggressive Rude dismissive In and out Does not care for patient Would never recommend I believe he should be fired or re trained on how to care for his patients. I left in tears and no person should pay a professional to feel this way. He does not listen to patient Does not give clarity on what the issue is before the patient is dismissed Walked me to the desk for payment without actually finishing the visit, he made an excuse saying he needed water and said for me to follow him. When I did that is when he walked me to the desk for payment. I then had to ask my follow up questions in the hallway in front of staff and other patients instead of being able to finish my visit in the privacy of the room. I left feeling in heard and unserviced. I will continue to tell people the poor experience of dr weingarten. I pray that he will one day no longer be able to practice being that he does no service to his patients.

Told me I was sensitive, when in fact he moved too fast and aggressively, pushed a tool painfully into my ear drum multiple times, 24 hours later still extremely sore. No lie I was traumatized, I hope my ear isn't damaged to be quite honest!

Best doc out there, kind, and actually cares about you

Peeked in my ears, took a glance at my nose and prescribed me the weakest possible nasal spray. Told me my loss of smell that has been gone for 11 years isn't recoverable.

Dr Weingarten is one of the best ENT i have ever had the pleasure of being seen by. Only doctor who can persuade me into doing procedures in office when im the biggest baby when it comes to them. The staff is great.

Except for having to wear a mask, It was a good experience. All of the work performed was superior to other places that I have been.

I was a patient of Weingarten's a couple of years ago and had good experiences. This most recent one, however, was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a doctor's office. Not only was Weingarten curt in his diagnosis, but his assistant in training also shoved his otoscope too far into my ear, causing me pain. Rather than apologize for this, the two of them said nothing. This was especially kind of them, considering my diagnosis was for NERVE DAMAGE in that ear. In the end, Weingarten rushed me out of the office without giving me time to ask any questions. He then prescribed prednisone and told me that the script would be at the pharmacy by the time I arrived. Upon my arrival, the pharmacy had NOT received anything from Weingarten's office. And, of course, his office was already closed at that point. It took half of the next day to even get the script sent to the pharmacy, because Weingarten's office uses a call center. No contact from Weingarten since. Good riddance.

Dr Weingarten failed in his communication style. As a patient my concerns were unheard. Not only did he cut me off while I was speaking he disregarded my current health condition and other symptoms I have been experiencing for months. I could not believe how abrupt he behaved while I was trying to describe my symptoms. I am very displeased by my experience with this specialist.

Wonderful staff and very respectful Doctor

Waited 35 mins to see Dr Weingarten. He was in room what seemed like 90 seconds. I saw him for nose fx and he immediately focused in on ear wax. He removed wax from left side 3-4 times and once from right ear. I saw another ENT in past for ear pain and he was extremely thorough. I came to this physician, because I was referred from ER. I would not return. This Dr seems either burned out or over worked. I can’t say I would refer anyone to this office.

Liked the doctor and staff, and the exam was veryinformative. Doesn't seem like a morning appointment should start 1/2 hour late, and I worry that the audiologist is trying to sell us something we can't afford instead of trying to work with our budget.

He was intelligent, but VERY dismissive. In an out so quickly, didn't seem to even care to listen to what my daughter was concerned with. I realize doctors know differently than the patient, but they DO NOT know the patient. Seems all practices are now going this direction...lots of knowledge very little if any time to listen and help on an individual basis.

Great communication skills. Listened to all of my ailments and determined the best course of action. Made an uncomfortable t-tube removal easier to manage because I knew what to expect. Patient first mentality was really great to experience!

I felt dismissed by Dr. Weingarten and that he rushed through the appointment. He did not thoroughly explain what he was recommending and how or why it might resolve my issues, and if the issues were not resolved what the next steps would be. Further, he was extremely rude and I did not feel comfortable at the end of my appointment. I also have an issue with the fact that he dictates his notes for his clients right outside of the room of his next client. I should not be able to hear someone’s name, reason for coming in and medication they were prescribed as that very likely violated HIPAA privacy laws.

This was my 2nd visit in about a month. He and his staff are very polite and give you an honest opinion. We would recommend him to anyone. By the way, Dr stone who praciticed here is unfortunately deceased and he too was a key player in this practice!
