Dr. Jeffrey K. Twum-Ampofo practices a broad array of urology and urologic surgery with special interest in prostate cancer, kidney cancer, prostate enlargement, and urinary stone disease. Additionally, he is well trained in management of voiding dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, men’s health, female urology, and urologic prosthetic surgery. He excels in minimally invasive techniques including pure laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Ampofo completed college at Arizona State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Subsequently, he earned his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC where he graduated with distinction and completed the research-focused track. Thereafter, he completed his residency in the Harvard Urologic Surgery Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston., MA.
Dr. Twum-Ampofo has given numerous academic lectures on various urologic topics including urologic oncology and stone disease. He has also presented his research at numerous national conferences. He is a member of the American Urological Association.

Dr. JEFFREY TWUM-AMPOFO MD Dr. Jeffrey, urologist office was very clean and neat. The personnel staff at the front desk was very kind with a very welcoming smile. Good morning greetings. The young ladies working at the front office was very professional, very courteous, very conscious of time regarding your appoint schedule. I was met by The laboratory technician to do the blood work and check my vital signs. The young lady was very thorough in explaining every aspect as to the involvement throughout the process. The experience was very Pleasant doing the procedure. I was escorted to the examination room. It was very clean. I took a seat. The doctor arrived within about 10 to 12 minutes. He was very professional, very thorough and explaining my medical issues, and how we going to confront my medical needs. We had an excellent dialogue in Communication, being proactive, and transparent, very understanding. I am a retired United States Army military veteran, 100 % Disabled American Vet.
Dr. Ampofo is one of the most professional young doctors I have had the opportunity to work with. He explains all of the information in laymen terms. He's very personable and plesant.
I really like 10 minutes. A friendly man on his very informative. We explains everything to you. I just really like him and his office staff was great. I'm back office and front office. I was very comfortable the whole time I was there. Thanks for the great service
