Dr. Jeffrey J. Sekula M.D., a New Jersey native, received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and subsequently received his medical education at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in Urology at Duke University Medical Center. After completing residency in 2003, Dr. Sekula was in private practice in State College, PA and a hospital employed position in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He earned American Board of Urology certification in 2005.
Dr. Sekula enjoys most facets of Urologic care, but has special training in genitourinary cancers, benign prostate disease, and kidney stone management, including metabolic stone evaluation. In addition, he enjoys prosthetic urology, including penile implants, urinary slings and sphincters, and interstim implantation.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Sekula has held ACRP certification and has participated in many clinical studies. He has been published in several journals, including Journal of Urology and Prostate, and co-authored an article on Emedicine.com
