I feel as if I was not heard about my problems I came in for. Instead I was just educated on “diet & exercise” and using protection since I am not looking to have a child at the moment. He did explain/educate me on a few things, but other than that it was more of a “try this and see you and your annual check up.” or let us know if anything is wrong.

Dr Hilton was nice and polite prior to doing an IUD replacement. The Nurse Practitioner had tried to remove the IUD previously but the strings were not accesible. When I expressed that it was hurting during the procedure Dr Hilton did not offer anything other than saying "I'm sorry". After at least 10 minutes of painful use of tools, etc. Dr Hilton said "I guess we could have numbed you", then left. The nurse was amazing and super helpful when I experienced a panic attack from the overwhelming and extended pain.

I had unique circumstances surrounding options with birth control because of my medical history. I knew this would require him to listen and probably ask questions to get clarity. He seemed set in his ways for what he thought was right for my body. I acknowledged his point of view, clarified to help him understand better but he refused to listen. I was under able to get the care that I needed from this professional.

Its honestly exhausting just being another name on a list of patients. I've never felt like a person at a visit, but another box to check off.
