Additionally, he has received a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. Dr. Stone completed his fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular surgery. Dr. Stone remains a faculty member of the Florida Orthopaedic Institute Hand Fellowship program and a Principle Investigator at the Foundation for Orthopaedic Research and Education.
Dr. Stone is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Tampa Bay Hand Club and the University of Florida Hand Fellows Alumni Club.
As an Affiliate Assistant Professor and Fellowship Training Program Instructor at the University of South Florida, Dr. Stone shares his professional knowledge and expertise training hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery students. He has authored numerous articles and lectured at national meetings on various upper extremity disorders.
Dr. Stone offers Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) which offers pain relief for patients with amputation.
In his free time, Dr. Stone enjoys skiing, sailing, boating and coaching youth sports. He likes to spend time traveling with his family.

Dr. Stone took the time to explain what we need to do. I appreciate when a doctor listens.
Very brief office visit. Most discussion and treatment was from other provider (Resident? Fellow?) He is very knowledgeable but also very busy. Today's appointments were at least an hour behind schedule because (per the receptionist) they returned late from lunch. White some patients skipped lunch to wait in their lobby.
One of the quickest turnaround appointments I've had in long time! That said everyone was thorough professional and exceptionally helpful. All the stars! 🦈💙🍻 SKÅL!

Amazing Dr. Did tendon transfers for my quadriplegic son. Changed his life can do amazing things. I went today for my hand/wrist. Would never go to another Dr for any upper body problems. He is an amazing surgeon.
Very attentive and I appreciate his conservative approach to issues.
