The doctor was great! The person that came in before him could practice treating the children like children who are apprehensive of strangers and not so much like adults. A little softness and less let’s get this done attitude goes a long way. I understand she is new so this is merely advise me that will help in the long run.

Horrible experience! We came from 2.5 hrs away for a contact appointment (specifically requested and its with a certain dr). Had to be there by 8 am which means leaving home at 5 am. We had several phone conversations with them to make sure they took our insurance and that things were covered. Get there and they promptly dilate my sons eyes and then say they can't do a contact exam while his eyes are dilated, oh and come to find out the insurance doesn't actually cover anything at their clinic and they want us to come back 3 more times to get him contacts but we have to pay the office visit each time. So not only did my son not get a contact exam or contacts but now we have to either go back to them and make the trip 3 more times or find somewhere else to take him (which is definitely going to be what we do) but he cant get anything today which was a total waste of time, fuel and a day off from work.
