Care Philosophy
I believe that the best success in medicine is achieved when patients and physicians work together on two points – determining the patient's health goals and applying the best scientific evidence to achieve these goals. With this in mind, my job is to listen well enough to understand my patients' priorities and to find the most scientifically-supported actions we can take to achieve their goals.

Specializing In
As a family physician, my scope of practice is broad. My main professional interest, and the thing that brings me the most professional satisfaction, is seeing my patients succeed at achieving their health goals. The medical topics that have generally interested me most are diabetes, obesity, and preventing cardiovascular disease.

Interests & Activities
Over the course of my career, I have enjoyed treating patients, teaching students and residents, and participating in clinical research.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my wife, playing with our children and grandchildren, riding motorcycles, and playing drums.
