Jeffrey C. Whitsett, M.D.

Dr. Jeffrey C. Whitsett, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon. In the two decades since he founded the practice that bears his name, Whitsett Vision Group has become recognized as a world-class surgery practice, an innovator in the field of ophthalmology, and a renowned clinical research center for new devices, procedures, and medicines.

After receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Whitsett completed his residency at the school’s Dean A. McGee Eye Institute. He then accepted a fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.

Dr. Whitsett is a certified physician with the American Board of Ophthalmology, and has served on its Practicing Ophthalmologists Advisory Committee on Education. He is a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
