Compassionate, professional conservative approach. Highly recommend.
1st post op appointment, Dr Abildgaard did not talk to me after the surgery until Tuesday (surgery was on Friday). Dr was very dismissive of pain and concerns, and when I told him that I was not physically able to my job and that I would like him to increase my medical leave questioned my answers, frustratedly agreed to a one week extension and stormed out of the exam room without letting me finish asking any more questions. He then sent his assistant in to show me out
An excellent surgeon for knee issues.

Took time to show my mri and provided best course of action. Answered my questions.
He took the time to explain the structure of my knee and the problem I was experiencing. I felt like I could ask questions and received complete answers.
Very professional, friendly and listens to the patient.
Excellent and kind bedside manner.
Pleasant, professional and informative. If I have to have a shoulder replacement I would choose him to do it.
