Unprofessional and misinformed regarding complex connective tissue disorders. During my appointment for a shoulder issue, this doctor took it upon himself to invalidate my formal EDS diagnosis—a diagnosis that took 10 years and multiple specialists to secure. He based his dismissive conclusion entirely on a flawed, partial joint assessment (examining my elbows through my shirt) and claimed that "all joints must be hypermobile" for EDS to be valid. He completely ignored the systemic nature of the condition and my specific history. I left feeling unheard and deeply disappointed by the lack of clinical thoroughness.
