Although the thumb injection was pain ful which was out of his control
Dr Johnson has such skill with giving these injections
I was referred to him by several of his former patients he is the best and I have to agree I was so nervous about this injection since I had had it before but he truly is the best and so grateful for the help Thank you Dr Johnson

Jeff W. Johnson, M.D. a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, has completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery with the Philadelphia Hand Center and Thomas Jefferson University. He earned his medical degree and residency certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery while at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
A member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary, he was named the Resident Teacher of the Year in 2008. As an author of several journal articles and book publications, his research includes an anatomic analysis of the shoulder for computer-assisted surgery and the association between wrist trauma and carpal tunnel syndrome. He has presented his work internationally and here in the States.
Dr. Johnson volunteers as an adjunct assistant clinical professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UAMS and plans to continue his research in addition to his clinical practice. He has been a part of the Fayetteville community for twelve years and continues his practice in innovative surgery of the hand and upper extremity.
