I was in so much pain in my knee, and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to walk well enough to go! Dr. Ijadi had my Xray report there and asked a lot of questions about my condition and seemed very concerned with my ability to not only go see my son and his wife’s new home, but my future care when I got back to the U.S.! The doctor gave a thorough examination that exceeded my expectations (especially since I’ve already seen four other specialists- chiropractor, pain, orthopedic, neurologist). I feel I am on my road to recovery. And prior to this I was on Kaiser, who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia instead of doing any type of in-depth exam. A doctor may be knowledgeable, but lack the desire to really understand what a woman may be suffering from. Besides due diligence, this specialist put in the time in treatment.

Five years ago I was having bad shoulder pain. I went to Dr. Ijadi and he diagnosed me and put me on a quick path to recovery. I’m back again as it appears I have a slight tear in my rotator cuff. So he has put together a plan to fix me up and get me on my way. He runs on time, takes time for his patients and has a great bedside manner, so to speak. I hope I never get injured again like this, but if I do, I know where to go.

I have 23 years of experience with medical specialists due to having a medically fragile and complicated son who is fully dependent. I’ve witness a full range of bedside manners and quality of care. Dr Ijadi (who treats me, not my son) is on top of my list of doctors who are excellent in their specialty, professional in their care. He doesn’t just treat my symptoms; he provides education, options and is never condescending. His schedule is tight for obvious reasons. You’ll need to schedule way in advance but he’s worth the wait!

He gave me a same-day appointment to deal with an urgent issue (which is almost inexistente in today’s US medicine). His office calls you to let you know when an authorization for a treatment is ready (which is not at all common in the Pomona Valley Medical Group). When Dr. Ijadi sees me, I don’t wait more than 5’ outside. Thanks Dr. Ijadi for going above and beyond.
