40 minutes late. Lacked empathy when poking at the thumb causing further pain. Struggled to communicate her issue using the MRI. Didn’t notice lack of mobility in her wrist and needed prodded to prescribe P/T. Generally suggested heal for 6 more weeks.

Dr. Jayson C. Johnson was born and raised in southeastern Idaho. He studied exercise physiology and Spanish while attending Brigham Young University in Utah. He earned a medical degree at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. After medical school he completed orthopedic residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Dr. Johnson continued his training by completing a 1 year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He trained with both orthopedic and plastic surgeons in microsurgical techniques and upper extremity reconstruction.
He is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Johnson loves spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys biking, skiing and climbing in the mountains.
