Dr. Patel completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He then completed his Foot & Ankle fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
During fellowship, Dr. Patel obtained extensive experience in treating a wide variety of conditions including ankle arthritis, foot and ankle trauma, sports related injuries, and chronic deformities of the foot and ankle. His interests include lower extremity reconstruction, ankle replacements, fractures, and athletic injuries.
Dr. Patel is a member of several professional and scientific societies including the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Outside of work, Dr. Patel enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants and different cuisines.

He’s a very personable doctor and takes the time to listen to you. He has a wonderful demeanor about him. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Patel moves very quickly through the appointment but when you ask questions or have concerns, he listens and explains everything. This is a very very busy practice, but it’s run very well.
