Great first visit.

Dr. Guzman is AMAZING! He is very friendly and professional with his patients. Very thorough in examining your injury and caring for it to make sure it is healing properly. Constantly monitors its progress with new x-rays. I hope I don't ever need it for anything else (fingers crossed) but if I do. I'm coming back to see Dr. Guzman.

I visited Dr. Javier Guzman for an evaluation of a failed MTP total joint replacement (done elsewhere.) Dr. Guzman is very kind, knowledgable, thorough and very easy to talk to. I immediately felt that he was on my team and is looking out for what is best for my unfortunate situation. He agreed that the failed implant needs to be removed and the joint fused and repaired ASAP. I am extremely anxious and he is helping to put my mind at ease so I may make an informed decision for the best possible outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Guzman.

Dr. Guzman is the best orthopedic surgeon I could have ever had! I tore my Achilles’ tendon and was devastated about it, but Dr. Guzman provided me the materials necessary to choose surgery or not. He was not pushy, but very very educational regarding this issue I had. He has worked with me every step of the way post surgery too. He is a kind hearted person who loves his job and enjoys meeting with patients. He is personable and very patient. I would never recommend anyone else but him!! Great Dr and awesome person

Dr Guzman got up at midnight to repair a complicated fracture that could have resulted in permanent damage if surgery had been delayed. He also personally called me at home to check my condition. I had a complete recovery.

Dr Guzman performed surgery 12 weeks ago and I’m on my way to an uneventful recovery. Excellent outcome! I’m walking again without discomfort or pain. Everything went exactly as we had hoped!

Dr Guzman's skills are a complete package! He surgically repaired mt foot with expertise. His people skills and bedside manner made me feel comfortable at every step. Thank you Dr. Guzman! I'm certainly happy you are back in Southwest Florida.

Dr Guzman confirm that there was no fracture as a result of my injury (via X-ray), but he did not ask to exam the injury. He did not check for the range of motion. He did say perhaps the tendon was most likely damaged, so I was to keep it wrapped. He provide NO other after care steps, nor did he ask about pain level when walking, sitting or laying. When I asked for pain management, he said ok and literally mumbled the name of a medication and he turned to walk out. I asked for clarification and he did repeat the name and told me what it was. He did say to follow up if it didn’t get better, but he did not state “when” that might be. 5 days? 10 days? Oh by the way the Rx wasn’t called in to the pharmacy by the way so it was up to me to follow up.

We like Dr. Guzman because he spends quality time with you during your office visits. Dr. Guzman performed ankle surgery on my left ankle in December and he has provided a very thorough rehabilitation protocol.

Glad I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Guzman. He is truly cares about his patients, and spends as much time as needed to make sure his patients are getting the correct diagnoses, and the proper care!

Dr. Guzman was knowledgeable, empathetic and very informative, when we met with him, today, to discuss my elderly aunt’s post-surgical progress. He took the time to write a detailed post-surgical therapeutic plan to guide my aunt’s rehabilitation. Dr. Guzman took the time to review post-surgery X-rays with us and to outline rehab goals to enable my aunt to regain maximum mobility. Dr. Guzman also made it a point to explain the anticipated surgical procedure, and promptly followed up with a detailed post-surgical telephone report. We are very pleased with Dr. Guzman’s performance and follow-up.
