Jason Zelenka M.D.

Dr. Jason Zelenka was born in Minnesota and raised in Upstate New York. A summa cum laude graduate of State University of New York at Albany, Dr. Zelenka received his medical degree from State University of New York College of Medicine at Syracuse. His internship and residencies were completed at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Zelenka, under the tutelage of Harvey Feigenbaum, M.D., distinguished professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and recognized as “Father of Modern Echocardiography”, completed his cardiovascular fellowship at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology in Indianapolis where he served as chief cardiology fellow in 2002-2003 and completed a 7 month preceptorship in nuclear cardiology. Dr. Zelenka joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in 2003. Dr. Zelenka is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and board certified in cardiovascular disease. He also holds credentials from the National Board of Echocardiography in adult comprehensive echocardiography. His interests include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, cardiac PET, and cardiac computed tomography. He is co-director of our vascular laboratories, active in our cardiac research studies, and is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Zelenka is available to see patients at the Countryside office.
