He has received multiple teaching awards from the Rowan Family Practice residency, including the Educator of the Year award. He was appointed director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where he was also the recipient of multiple Guardian Angel awards for excellence in patient care.
