Dr. Jason Sims was born and raised in Olathe, KS. He attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg before getting his osteopathic medical degree from Kansas City University in 1998. He completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Oklahoma State University in 2001 before moving to LaJunta, Colorado where he practiced for 12 years. He moved to Conifer, Colorado in 2014 with his wife Rhonda and children: Drew (daughter age 26) and Gage (son age 23). Travel and topical medicine pique his interest as he formerly traveled frequently to Gonaives, Haiti to practice in a clinic in which he helped build. Outside of medicine, his hobbies and interests include hunting and fishing mainly in Alaska and Colorado.
