Dr. Jason R. Sherman is a board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as fellowship-trained in pain management and spine intervention. He uses a variety of minimally invasive spine techniques, treating painful conditions of the low back and neck in addition to other musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. He specializes in electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction testing for diagnosing neuromuscular disorders and non-surgical treatment options.
Before joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Sherman treated patients in Scottsdale at Southwest Spine and Sports. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in musculoskeletal and interventional spine at Southwest Spine and Sports where he gained experience on interventional spine procedures. He received his residency training and completed an internship at Ohio State University. During his residency, he served as the Chief Resident where he was responsible for recruitment, interviewing and orientating new onboarding residents as well as acting as a medical education committee member. Dr. Sherman obtained his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
Dr. Sherman is a member of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

He could not have been more welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable. I had an EMG and was very nervous but he talked to me and it distracted me from my nervousness. Best Dr ever honestly !
