Dr. Pleimann was friendly, knowledgeable and unrushed. I left knowing what to expect and how to proceed.

I am a returning patient of Dr Pleimann’s. He did a right posterior tibial tendon reconstruction on me 3 years ago. I recovered exceptionally well. He didn’t guarantee my return to activity pre op, but 2.5 years after surgery I was able to run a marathon qualifying for Boston. I know what a great surgeon he is because I use to run c-arms for him in the OR.
I had some concerns today about my left (non operative) ankle. I might be more concerned than I should have been, but considering what happened to my right, I thought I should have it looked at. He told me everything looked OK on examination, and to wear my ankle brace only participating in low impact activities for the next 6 weeks (which I am happy to do considering what happened to the right). We would get an MRI just to make sure. I am thankful he put my mind at ease during the visit addressing my concerns.
