Knowledgeable and took his time explaining x-ray results. The cortisone shot he gave me, although not painless, was bearable and provided relief.

As a former athlete, Dr. Rogers developed an interest in the sports medicine community. He served as a team physician for the Colorado Rockies MLB team while completing a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Reconstruction at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. While there, he gained further experience treating patients from the young athlete to the aging weekend warrior. Dr. Rogers believes a comprehensive team-approach between the patient, their family, and the patient’s healthcare team is critical for positive patient outcomes.
Dr. Rogers has published peer reviewed literature on the topics of rotator cuff repair, biceps tenodesis, shoulder instability, hip arthroscopy, shoulder replacement and arthroscopic surgery techniques.
Outside the operating room and clinic, Dr. Rogers enjoys fitness, outdoor activities, and recreational sports. He provides sports medicine physician services for community sports leagues, clubs, and local high school athletic programs. He and his family can be found serving hot meals to those in need. Dr. Rogers’s enthusiasm for serving others and his involvement within his community is second to none.
