Dr. Jason Mlnarik is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in traumatic injuries and other orthopedic-related problems. Dr. Mlnarik completed his medical degree at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri and his fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Before moving to our area, Dr. Mlnarik practiced for ten years in Kansas City as an orthopedic trauma surgeon. He and his family are excited to be in Florida and particularly in the Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda area, where they can enjoy the beautiful water, warm climate, and welcoming community. His interests include weight/strength training, golf, and pet rescue and fostering.
Dr. Mlnarik is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Mlnarik was FANTASTIC today. He really liked the progress I was making with my left knee. I've been working really hard with physical therapy every day, walking and exercising.

Very friendly and likable, and clear with information about injury. Would highly recommend.
Doctor Mlnarik is very friendly and easy to talk with and ask questions, that goes a long way these days. I can't speak for his expertise at wrist surgery yet but I have a feeling he is an excellent surgeon. Even though I'm a "self-pay" patient without insurance he treated me with respect and dignity and said the surgery is necessary for me to have use of my hand again. I really appreciate Advanced Orthopedics working with me to make this happen. I need both hands functioning to be able to work. Thank you.
