I find that his decision to not allow my PRP injection was not based on clinic evidence but based on an abundance of caution. This is likely based ln concerns for liability and not based on an interest for patient care and well being.

Dr. Jason Lee, DO, is a double board-certified PM&R and Sports Medicine Specialist at Hudson Physicians in Hudson, WI. A Lake Erie College alumnus, he completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center and a fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Jason Lee began his extensive medical education at Concordia College. “I just really wanted to help people,” he shared. “In my early years of college, I majored in exercise science and health. Then, during my undergraduate training, I decided that I wanted to be able to help my patients even more.” He chose to attend medical school and become a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
He continued his education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine – Bradenton and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency tenure at Rush University Medical Center, after which he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan. In addition to years of education, Dr. Lee now holds many professional memberships and has also recently co-authored multiple professional journal publications.
In 10+ years of practice, Dr. Lee has focused on his special interests like sports-related concussions, regenerative medicine/orthobiologics, and musculoskeletal ultrasounds and injections. He has served as a team physician for local high schools and USA Hockey. “I chose my specialty because I want to work with active patients to help them live with less pain and improve their functionality,” he stated. He loves to see his patients showing progress and strives to help each one to achieve better overall well-being. An example of this was with a memorable middle-aged patient who was able to return to her work duties, and even some of her favorite hobbies, such as gardening, after going through treatment with Dr. Lee.
Regarding complete health,Dr. Lee practices what he preaches. His advice for maintaining health is to stay active, eat a well-balanced diet, and avoid stress, if possible. You can find him at the local gym at least 3 times a week adhering to his “stay active” recommendation. His tip for dealing with excess stress is to spend time doing activities that you enjoy.
Dr. Lee’s decision to join Hudson Physicians was based on his love for the area and the practice’s strong, well-established reputation in the community. The approach and attitude within the practice was appealing as well. “I wanted to join a team that really empowers their physicians to practice medicine for the true benefit of their patients, while also having the ability and freedom to collaborate with colleagues,” he said.
In keeping with his outlook on health, Dr. Lee stays active and keeps busy with things he enjoys – chasing after his daughters, spending lots of time with friends and family, dining out, attending sporting events and concerts, and a round or two of golf. And, keep an eye out for him at the local gym.
