Performed a thorough evaluation of my rotator cuff injury, listened to my priorities, and took the time to explain some very promising treatment options that didn’t involve surgery. I’m impressed and will take his recommendations and come back for one of those options. He treated a friend of mine who was helped through nonsurgical treatment. I’m glad my friend recommended Dr. Le

Dr Le really wants to help his patients get better. I highly recommended him. He has helped me with both my right shoulder and both knees. He has many tools in his tool box. He thinks outside the box on which treatment is best.

He completed his Transitional Internship with the Navy at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) and pursued additional training as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He then spent the next three years caring for and deploying with Navy and Marine Corps Aviators and Air Crew. His next journey moved him to Honolulu, HI, to complete his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Hawaii before returning to Virginia to complete his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). At VCOM, he worked with the Virginia Tech Hokies and Radford Highlanders.
Dr. Le uses the philosophy and principles of Osteopathic Medicine (there is interrelated unity in all body systems, with each working with the other to heal in times of illness/injury) to treat his patients better. He sees the body as a functional whole, and injuries to one system/location affect the whole system. Dr. Le focuses on body biomechanics to better understand and diagnose injuries. Then he pairs it with various regenerative procedures and targeted rehab to decrease pain and improve function to return his patients to sports, work, hobbies, or daily activities.
Dr. Le likes to work out, fish, travel, read, or acquire new hobbies or life skills outside work. Please give Dr. Le a warm ROSM welcome when you see him.
