I saw Brian today not Doctor Hurd. He took the time to show me pictures of my surgery and explain what they needed to do to fix the tear. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and informative.

I believe Dr Hurd is a great sugeon. But after I had gotten an injection on Thurs and 5 days later I asked them for sometjing for pain in neck and scapula and down rt arm. His nurse told me he only perscribes pain meds if you just had surgery. I hadn't got hardy any sleep in 4 days very sleep deprived. Due to pain. When I had messaged them to get something they told me I had to go see my PCP to get that. So now another app

In my 78 years of life, he is the best doctor I have ever gone to. He really cares about his patients and shows concern beyond and above approach. God Bless him.

Had him do my other shoulder a few years ago and it turned out perfect so only want to go with him for my surgery in fall.

From my experience Dr. Hurd is one of the best Shoulder replacement surgeons you can have for shoulder replacement. I had full range in my replaced shoulder after 3 weeks and not much for pain during Physical therapy. It’s been and a year now and alls good with it. Thank you Dr. Hurd!!!!

He was very thoughtful, thorough & informative. Stated & showed me his X-ray screen from this AM & stated it “looked perfect”. Informed me that I didn’t need to wear the sling anymore; however not to lift anything heavier than a styrofoam cup❗️ Scheduled to see me in a month. Addressed my request for 3 more weeks that therapist had okd this week & said yes. I’m very diligent with my daily therapy. I was most impressed/ his assistant that gave me my left shoulder shot & showing me how it looked on his screen & done & movement of the fluid movement. Hardly knew I’d had a shot! & throughput the day I’ve noticed no pain as time went on as it had gotten so bad that I couldn’t get dishes down from my cupboard? Both receive a 5+. Will request both as I need treatment for the left shoulder in the future.

Dr Hurd listens to his patients concerns & addresses each one before leaving the room. He doesn’t rush out of the room as quickly as he can.

As always great experience. Dr Hurd and PA Berry are great and Sanford lost one of the best!!

Dr Hurd replaced both my shoulders in 2021 at Sanford. Excellent work and excellent bedside, and office manner. I had both a regular and a reverse replacements. I am on my 4th month recovery for the reversal right shoulder. It has been more intense than the left regular replacement.
