Dr Hurd and his staff are always very efficient and courteous. When I reinjured a joint that he had previously repaired I knew who I trusted to evaluate the extent of the damage and make repairs.

Went for a second opinion after I was told my issue was a Frozen Shoulder. Dr Hurd actuallt looked at and showed me my issues and discussed options, He actuallt looked at it, vs pushing injections luke the 1st Dr.

Dr. Jason Hurd has been a fellowship-trained shoulder and elbows, orthopedic surgeon, practicing in Sioux Falls since 2007. He offers computer navigated shoulder replacements and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and elbow.
Dr. Hurd completed undergraduate coursework at the University of Notre Dame and received a medical degree at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. He received his fellowship training from the New York Hospital for Joint Disease and is board–certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
In addition to his practice, he also serves as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.
When he is not working, Dr. Hurd likes to spend time with his wife and three children, playing golf, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.
