Dr Hurd is so kind and easy to talk to. Only took me one visit for him to diagnose & treat my partially torn rotator cuff with extra fluid in my shoulder. Treated with extraction of fluid, steroid shot, & physical therapy. 6 weeks later returned for follow up feeling great! Thanks Dr., Hurd!! Very compassionate & knowledgeable Dr!

Dr. Hurd has such a wonderful bedside manner! He takes so much time in just treating me so personally and takes so much time in explaining things to me. He’s an excellent Dr. with lots of good advice and such a caring man. So happy to have him as my Dr.

Dr. Jason Hurd has been a fellowship-trained shoulder and elbows, orthopedic surgeon, practicing in Sioux Falls since 2007. He offers computer navigated shoulder replacements and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and elbow.
Dr. Hurd completed undergraduate coursework at the University of Notre Dame and received a medical degree at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. He received his fellowship training from the New York Hospital for Joint Disease and is board–certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
In addition to his practice, he also serves as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine.
When he is not working, Dr. Hurd likes to spend time with his wife and three children, playing golf, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.
