Jason Klein, MD, FACC

Dr. Jason Klein, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist with extensive expertise in cardiovascular imaging, minimally invasive procedures, and comprehensive heart health care. As the Medical Director of the Echo and Vascular Imaging Lab at the Heart & Vascular Center of Arizona, he leads advancements in diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditions.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania and Medical Degree from Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, Dr. Klein continued his training with an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center (University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix) where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Klein is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), underscoring his dedication to clinical excellence and leadership in cardiology.

Dr. Klein specializes in advanced diagnostic and invasive techniques, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, and treatment of rhythm disorders such as pacemaker implantation and loop recorder insertion. He is particularly known for his expertise in treating varicose veins using minimally invasive catheter-based methods, helping patients return to their daily activities with minimal discomfort and downtime.

He ensures each patient understands their diagnosis and treatment options, fostering a collaborative relationship to achieve optimal health outcomes. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Klein serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and Program Director for the Abrazo Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he helps to train the next generation of physicians.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Klein contributes to cutting-edge cardiovascular research. He has been involved in clinical trials exploring innovative heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and valve disease treatments. His work has been published in leading medical journals, furthering advancements in cardiovascular medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Klein enjoys traveling, playing soccer, skiing, and spending quality time with his family. His multilingual skills and global medical mission experience highlight his dedication to improving heart health both locally and internationally.
