Dr.Jason Higgins participated in a variety of research projects and publications in both trauma and sports medicine. He also wrote a textbook chapter for shoulder arthroscopy.
Dr. Higgins has extensive experience treating athletic injuries and has been credited as an instructor of orthopaedic surgery, teaching shoulder arthroscopy techniques to other orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr. Higgins served as the team physician for several high schools and universities including the University of Oklahoma. He currently consults for a number of NFL players with injuries.

Really disappointed to wait an hour and a half for a 5-minute visit. I didn't feel like I was listened to with the severe pain that I'm in. It was just like okay we're going to send you to 6 weeks of therapy and see how that goes to get all of the muscles quote unquote firing in the same cylinders at the same time. Then send a PA in to give me a steroid shot and buy kick you out the door you're out of there. No bedside manner I didn't feel like whatsoever and I've been to multiple ortho doctors in my life and I just couldn't believe it
