I’m happy with his care and treatment. Good bedside manner and easy to talk to. The first week after total knee replacement was considerably more difficult than I expected. At 5 weeks, I’m realizing daily improvement.
I would rate him 20 stars based on my experience with the 3 replacement -hip, shoulder, knee- surgery he has done for me over last 15 years.
I received excellent care and superb outcome from a hip replacement by Dr. Cochran. A great, positive, life changing procedure for me.
Knee replacement with zero complications!
Dr. Cochran is excellent. He is a calm, cool, and confident surgeon. He will discuss everything with you, pinpoint areas on the x-rays, and answer all your questions during your first office visit, as well as on the day of the surgery. He performs the Anterior Approach for the Total Hip Replacement; I highly recommend that approach. I live 2-hours away, but it was well worth the drive to have a THR by one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Michigan. My surgery went great and I only spent six hours at the surgery center. Dr. Cochran's staff prepares you with pre-op meds and instructions, and then post-op meds, at-home exercises, and instructions. They also connected me with a local P.T. A month after my surgery, I'm walking without a cane and with zero pain. Furthermore, the Nurses, staff, and Anesthesiologist at Red Cedar Surgery Center were superb. I highly recommend Dr. Cochran.
my hip surgery went very well
He was very friendly but also professional. He explained my hip issues in layman’s terms. He also explained how my hip issues could change in the future and laid out several options.
Super friendly and knowledgeable!
Very straightforward and compassionate. Gave me a pain free life. Recovery was seamless
