Dr Smith saw my dad the same day for a concerning issue found while at another Dr appointment to which family practice referred us for. He was very thorough, kind, and showed genuine concern for his well being. He covered the necessary needs in a very reasonable amount of time he was friendly and very personable. My dad left that appointment feeling that he was very well taken care of.

Listening to everything I had to say & took every symptom into consideration. He let me know the current steps we were taking & what he would look at next if symptoms continued so there won’t be surprises for me. I definitely appreciated that!

While in his undergraduate studies, Smith worked for Family Practice Center – first on the maintenance crew, then as a courier, then as a medical assistant at the Herndon location. He then attended Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated in 2020. That was followed by a year of residency training at Centra Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency. Smith then completed the remaining two years at Geisinger Lewistown Rural Family Medicine Residency and worked his continuity clinic at the Mifflintown Family Practice Center. Dr. Smith has a wife and two children (son and daughter) and loves spending time with them. They love being outdoors (hiking, hunting, fishing), going to Knoebels, watching Penn State Football and whatever else comes their way.
