A gifted surgeon who whom I was extremely happy to have as my doctor.

He then completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Geist is presently a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. His areas of interest include EUS, obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, and treatment of Barrett’s esophagus.
In his spare time, Dr. Geist enjoys running, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
