She was uninterested in my health and my problems. I honestly in my entire 65 years on this planet, have never ever been treated like this! I was extremely uncomfortable with her. I got referral from my primary. This is protocol and always has been. Meanwhile I explained to her exactly what I needed done, repeating myself several times she told me I needed a referral from another Dr of mine. My Cancer Dr. we went back and forth about this. I was put off by now so I told her fine I will go else where. Then she said she would request a referral from my oncologist, and then schedule my procedure. After telling me she couldn’t help me with out a referral from my UCSD Cancer Doctor. Needless to say, I won’t be doing this with anyone whom treats sick people in this manner. # Going to another location!
Fantastic Doctor
Muy able
Personable, friendly, knowledgeable
Very nice, answered all questions!
Comprehensive, educational,and informative. Consumate professional
The office has no privacy. You can hear the patients/doctor entire visit in the room next to you. No formal professional introduction by the doctor or interest to get to know the patient. First words were, what’s going on? The doctor lacks basic bedside manner and empathy. Seems to be going through the motions, typing on the computer. The MA that takes your blood pressure asks what is going on, takes notes, asks any medications your on, yet the doctor never reads the MAs notes and asks the same questions. As a patient that feels very impersonal and uninterested. She is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. No amount of medical Knowledge can make up for a poor bedside manner or lack of compassion
Easy to talk to. A good listener.
Dr. Patel was great - patient and willing to answer all our questions.
Dr Patel is a very patient kind person. She listened to all my concerns with out interruption or rushing me.
