Dr. Pierce has been a member of the excellent team of eye care specialists at Swagel Wootton Eye Institute since 2014. She provides comprehensive eye care services to patients, including ocular disease management and contact lenses. Dr. Peirce also provides pre and post-operative co-management and is an active member of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Arizona Optometric Association.
When Dr. Pierce is not treating patients, she enjoys various recreational activities including hiking, cooking, and kayaking.

Explained thoroughly what she found out about my eyes I didn't know about and made me feel at ease.
I went to her because my previous doctor, Dr Sherlock, had me waiting 2 months since August 7th for a prescription of Restasis, my wife called them every day and they submitted 2 authorizations in the last week and 2 prior to that, still everything came back incomplete for like the fourth time, my wife explained all of this to the front desk and they said they would let the doctor know, but she still gave me OTC eye drops that don't work for me. I have chronic dry eye I suffer with it everyday and every night, and for some reason the doctors just don't want to listen to me, and I feel like it was a waste of time.

Personality of a wet towel. Didn’t intro herself. I wasn’t sure if she was the doctor or an assistant when she walked in. I told her I had a rough night after the surgery and she didn’t bother to ask why. I tried to switch my next appt to Dr Hanson, who is great, but unfortunately Dr Hanson is out of the office the week I’m scheduled for my follow up appointment.
