Dr. Melisi is extremely personable and spent a lot of time with me going over my particular condition. He explained in detail what he believes is going on with my back while showing me the MRI images that were taken and relating it to what a normal "skeletal" spine, and the nerves from it, should look like using a plastic model.

He developed a plan for me with three options and explained each, plus we agreed that I should have a current MRI to ensure that no other changes have occurred to my back situation in the past six months. Dr. Melisi’s knowledge and demeanor are reassuring - he does not pressure a decision; instead, he asks questions, listens carefully, consults notes and past history, does physical assessments, and offers options. He performed highly successful spinal stenosis surgery on me almost eight years ago; I trust him and wouldn’t entrust my future spinal surgery to anyone else.
