Did not have to wait very long to meet with Dr. Post. Dr. Post always seems very concerned about my issues and is willing to help inform me in anything that will make it better. Excellent doctor.

Love Dr Post! He has performed several surgeries on myself and my husband. He’s always been polite, compassionate and very knowledgeable in the areas of hand to shoulder, which we have personally experienced. We recommend him highly!

Dr. Post has ALWAYS provided the BEST care. I’ve had two elbow surgeries and my wife has had one had surgery. Would not EVER think of going anyplace else!!!

Very personable, great communication skills, listens well to your needs/issues/concerns. Great first visit and consultation. If surgery is required I will have zero hesitation to see him for the procedure and would recommend him without any reservation at all. One of the better specialist visits I’ve had in quite some time.
Dr. James Post is a native of Columbus, OH. He earned his doctorate in medicine from Medical College of Ohio in 1992. This was followed by an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his formal training in 1998 with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He also had further training in hand surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He joined Raleigh Hand Center in 1998. Dr. Post is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with additional certification in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include fishing, golfing and mountain biking.
