Very personable, great communication skills, listens well to your needs/issues/concerns. Great first visit and consultation. If surgery is required I will have zero hesitation to see him for the procedure and would recommend him without any reservation at all. One of the better specialist visits I’ve had in quite some time.

I appreciate his honesty and being a prom with me about my shoulder. I am more information in a half hour from Dr. Post then I got in two years was the doctor I was working with thank you.

Dr. Post is the kindest and most caring doctor I have ever met. Excellent care and a very professional, friendly doctor He was attentive and took the time to explain everything clearly.
Dr. James Post is a native of Columbus, OH. He earned his doctorate in medicine from Medical College of Ohio in 1992. This was followed by an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his formal training in 1998 with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He also had further training in hand surgery at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He joined Raleigh Hand Center in 1998. Dr. Post is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with additional certification in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include fishing, golfing and mountain biking.
