Seen Dr Maher for torn ACL and broken ankle/torn ligament in the past. He diagnosed and corrected both so they were good as new. Today he assessed my knee problem with the same skill and gave me a recovery program. I totally recommend him.

Dr. Maher showed me my X-rays and explained the problems he saw. He listened and took my concerns seriously.

Competent, kind, low-key doc with lots of empathy and no drama kind of person. Initially, I thought he was blah but he had grown on me.

Dr. Maher only cares about money and prescribes medication instead of finding out what is really wrong. I’ve been in excruciating pain every day for the past 35 days and refuses to have me get an MRI even through I waited a month for this appointment and my PCP said that she couldn’t order me an MRI because he needed to order certain views on an MRI that only he could do. After waiting a month for hopefully some answers as to what was going on with knee, I was let down, $40 down the drain for 5 minute consultation that he was LATE to. Utterly unimpressed with a doctor I’ve heard many good things about.

Dr. Maher is very professional and friendly. Any questions or concerns I have, he addresses them.

I had an initial appt on Oct 3 with Dr. Maher regarding a knee injury. I left the office feeling defeated and frustrated. He was unaware I had MRI results and had not reviewed them prior to my arrival; while we looked at my scans, he pointed out the observations by the radiologist but didn’t adequately explain the implications of my injuries; he was uninterested in hearing my personal notes about my knee injury/pain since JUNE; he executed a very quick physical exam of my knee but did not even attempt to investigate the movements that actually cause me great pain and concern on a daily basis; he commented that my ligament tear (MCL) would “eventually heal itself”; and he asked zero questions about my previous/current activity levels, fitness goals, and frustration about the loss of strength in my right knee over the past four months. The only recommendation he gave was a cortisone shot for the inflammation and pain relief. I resent the one-size-fits-all approach to my care.

Dr. Maher was not attentive, was rushed and I had to push for an MRI to be done to assess my daughters acute pain. She is missing school and not sleeping due to pain and after 2 or 3 quick exercises to determine the issue he was going to send her on her way. Thankfully We have a PT in the family and she pushed for pain management and an MRI.

Dr Maher is one of the most talented and best-trained physicians I have met in my long life. I washed up on his shore after a bad diagnosis and he's given me the best care anyone could expect. Truly a credit to the profession.
