"Dr. James M. Nieman, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a sub-specialty certification in sports medicine. Dr. Nieman completed his residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Fremont Ross High School. Dr. Nieman is a past Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of American Society for Sports Medicine, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, American Medical Association, and Rotary Club of Lima.
Dr. Nieman is the orthopaedic team physician for Ohio Northern University, Bath High School and Lima Central Catholic High School."

Words can not express how impressed I was with Dr. Nieman this morning!! I had myself psyched out of the gel injection that I had my appointment for this morning. The past times I’ve had them done it had hurt enough to make me want to change my mind the night before. However I made the appointment so I was keeping it, in hopes we could find something else that would help. The best option was the gel injections. So with his amazing bed side manner and I mean that he had my mind taken off the pain and did the injections and I promise you I felt nothing!!! I sure hope he doesn’t decide to retire any time soon!
