"Dr. James M. Nieman, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a sub-specialty certification in sports medicine. Dr. Nieman completed his residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Fremont Ross High School. Dr. Nieman is a past Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of American Society for Sports Medicine, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, American Medical Association, and Rotary Club of Lima.
