Dr Moran is very thorough and he shows you and explains everything to you in a way that's easy to understand even for me. Him Dr Straight and Dr Kaholn thumbs up to the three of the.

Very thorough and compassionate. Explained things in a simple way I could understand. The only downside was the wait time.

Dr Moran and staff were very attentive and helpful. I have a back problem going on and they were very fast to find a wheelchair to help me get from place to place.

Explained my situation in a way I could understand. Dedicated to my improvement.

Following two knee replacements, Dr. Moran treated me for sciatic issues, specifically, severe central canal stenosis. We tried PT for a while, and when that didn’t provide significant relief, he administered steroids/nerve block injections. Two weeks after it feels much better. I have confidence in Dr. Moran. He’s professional, knowledgeable and efficient.

I appreciated Dr. Moran's thorough assessment and two-way conversation about my condition and our plan going forward. In the past, I have found Dr. Moran very stoic, i.e., interacting with very little expression. Some could take it as disengagement. I have known Dr. Moran for a long time and know he is engaged and interested in my health. I think he is more effective when he is more responsive verbally, and expressing friendliness. I see him being more amiable recently. That makes it easier for me to be open with him about my condition and my needs.

I had an 815 appt. I signed in at 814, was taken back at 816 and was out the door at 836!! Jim always takes the time to explain the spine and how to interpret the mri in a way that makes sense to us laymen! I highly recommend him! If i could give him more than 5 stars, i would!

I’ve known Dr. Moran a long time and I trust him. He’s patient with my questions and explains well. If he could come across as a bit more friendly it would make it easier to converse. It’s not that he’s unfriendly but very muted and it’s disarming. Makes me have to work harder to be open with him and be willing to ask questions. I’m not asking for him to be insincere. This is just something to consider re: patient interactions leading to most effective outcomes.

His communication of treatment and/or treatment options comes across as guarded. I had to "pump" him for answers to treatment options and prognosis. This is my second appointment with Dr. Moran and is the same as the first. My continuation with Dr. Moran is based on his reputation and suggestion by my GP.
