Treating people in Georgia for more than three decades, Dr. James M. Libby is now sharing his expertise at Urology of Greater Atlanta. Dr. Libby received his MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. He served two years in general surgery at North Shore University Hospital and completed his urology residency and research fellowship in urologic oncology at Baylor College of Medicine.
He is certified by the American Board of Urology and has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1987 as one of the most sought-after urologists in the state of Georgia. He is past president of the Atlanta Urologic Society and Baylor College of Medicine Alumni Association. He is a founding member of Urology of Greater Atlanta, is affiliated with Northside and Piedmont Henry Hospitals. He's been published in numerous medical journals throughout his career and does a lot of professional speaking.
He is married with 4 children, 3 grandchildren and enjoys competitive tennis and spinning.

Very professional, caring, and understood I was in pain
Dr. Libby is good but my experience having blood drawn by the nurse was not good. It took many attempts to draw my blood and it was unsuccessful and I had to drive to a clinic to have blood drawn. It was very inconvenient!
Dr. Libby really touched me with his personal and caring approach. Combined with his decades of experience, that creates trust which is so important when one faces cancer.
Very good beside manner made you at ease
Dr Libby was excellent. He didn't seem to be in a hurry like I was just a number. He took time to explain everything to me and has a calm demeanor.
Dr. Libby has removed kidney stones from most of my family, including myself. He has always done a great job and is very professional. Thankful to have him in our area.

Dr. Libby is a wonderful physician and has an excellent staff. Thank goodness he comes up to Blue Ridge Georgia so we don’t have to drive down to Atlanta.
