The doctor was knowledgeable, professional, and communicated clearly during the visit, which I appreciated especially given it was after hours. He maintained a calm and respectful demeanor, and it’s clear he has strong expertise.
However, I do have some concerns about the treatment plan. We were advised that a walking boot would be sufficient and that crutches were not necessary. By the following morning, the patient was unable to put any weight on the foot, even with the boot, which made mobility very difficult and required additional follow-up care.
While I understand the challenges of after-hours care, I wish the evaluation had been a bit more thorough, particularly in anticipating pain and mobility limitations. A more cautious approach such as offering crutches would have been helpful.
Overall, I appreciate the doctor’s professionalism and knowledge, but a more comprehensive plan would have improved the experience.
