Knew the medical part but had the bedside manner of a rattlesnake. Didn't even say "Hello" when he entered the room. Looked bored and not happy to be there. Answered questions, however.

Dr. Hi is amazing! He replaced my hip and knee a few years ago and both have been pain free ever since. Now he’s going to replace my other hip and I can’t wait to walk completely pain free. He is so nice and it’s always a great experience with him.

I was very lucky to find Dr. Ho. I had a rare injury to my knee that no other surgeon wanted to undertake the correction of. I actually had one orthopedic surgeon tell me that my knee was nothing but crap (his word) and they wouldn’t touch me with a 10 foot pole. Dr. Ho had actually performed the needed repair once before. The surgery went very well and I am very grateful. Southern Oregon is fortunate to have such an experienced and talented surgeon.

Dr. Ho had absolutely no interest in my knee pain and my request to help me stay active as I am an athlete. I was told by an assistant of his that if you’re not a surgical candidate he likely has no interest...those last are my words interpreting what I was told. If, and when, I need to return to the orthopedic center I will have to request another doctor because I cannot work with someone who will not take the time to interpret my x-rays or advise me as to how to accommodate my OA. To me it was a very unacceptable experience to have with a physician! When he walked in the room he didn’t even make eye contact as he in audibly introduced himself.

I was a new patient to him. He was unfamiliar with my past (Didin't he look at my chart?) Only concerned with mu uniqueness. No suggestions, no real thoughts about my issue. I felt like a freak show.

Didn't bother to assess my movement limitations, didn't care about my pain. After looking over the x-rays with me, telling me how the cartilage was very thin and that I had bone spurs as well, all he had to say was, 'You're fat, lose weight, maybe we can do something to fix your hip in a couple years.' I have a shooting pain from my hip down the back of my leg to my knee and he had no suggestion, no test - nothing. His attitude was 'Not my problem'.

It's not like you get to see your surgeon very much because how busy they are. So I'll rate him on the job he does. I'm only five days out of hip replacement surgery and everything is going good so far. I'm very happy with the outcome so far and I'm just trying to get past the recovery period.. looking forward to a brighter future.

Been living with hip pain for longer than I should have. Such an easy fix with orthotics, should have visited him much sooner. Attentive, thorough and easy to talk to.

He was very not personable, came in the room, did not sit down and hear my concerns as to my injury. Did a few tests and then was out the door. Maybe 5 minutes. There were xrays up on the screen and did not have me look at them and explain what he saw, even though he said I had no arthritis . Felt like he did not address any of my concerns.

He gets upset when you seek a second opinion.

Didn’t see him the week before procedure day after. Then Never saw him , until six weeks after operation. Granted it was the holidays. But his work was good

I've never had a worse experience. He literally walked in and within 45 seconds proclaimed a diagnosis that was completely wrong. I had no symptoms that corresponded with his diagnosis. He did not even exam me or ask questions. It was a complete waste of time and money - this kind of care (or lack of it) is not what insurance companies should be paying for.

I went in for an assessment of my knee last Friday. I'm in a lot of pain while I wait for a meniscus repair surgery.it I have been waiting for an MRI referral so I can schedule my surgery.Why is it taking a week to get an MRI referral? Ive called your office everyday, but no one seems to have a good explanation other than that they are waiting for notes on my chart to be completed. Should it take a week for chart notes for a patient desperately waiting for surgery? this credulous!

Friendly, listens, very good experience for me and excellent results with my surgery.

The wait was longer than it should have been. I’m sure this doc is good in his field but I felt zero connection with him and kind of dismissed.

I give him a 5 star now and then a 10 after he fixes my knee. Ha... How's that Doc?

Appreciated Dr Ho immensely for his calm demeanor, even with my nervous off the wall comments 😊. Surgery went perfectly and going in, that was my biggest concern. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!

I appreciated his diligence in reading my chart before meeting with me so I didn’t have to explain my health history. He was straight forward with options but willing to do what I felt was best for my body and lifestyle. Good sense of humor too!!

Dr. Ho is extremely capable, well-trained, thoughtful, and inspires great confidence. He knows what he is doing; surgery was very successful, and the new hip is working!!! Grateful to have found him! An added bonus: respectful toward patient!!!
