Dr. James Ho is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hip and knee replacement surgery. Prior to medical training, he obtained a PhD in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. He attended medical school at UC San Francisco. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at University of Illinois in Chicago, and obtained fellowship subspecialty training in adult reconstructive surgery at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

When not at work, Dr. Ho enjoys running, playing the piano, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Very nice but soft spoken.
He is a great surgeon and gave me ideas for rehab while on my way to recovery after hip surgery.
Really expected him to do the surgery. Really hurt me for several days after the X-ray.
Dr Ho exhibits lots of patience with my situation. I need knee replacement but because I am alone and have no help I will just get a shot periodically
Very good at a very difficult surgery, putting a femur bone back together.
Excellent surgeon. Takes the time to answer any questions and/or concerns. Highly recommend if you need a new knee.
