Dr. James Ho is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hip and knee replacement surgery. Prior to medical training, he obtained a PhD in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. He attended medical school at UC San Francisco. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at University of Illinois in Chicago, and obtained fellowship subspecialty training in adult reconstructive surgery at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

When not at work, Dr. Ho enjoys running, playing the piano, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two children.

I appreciate Dr Ho’s candor about my prognosis and his preferences for treatment.

Knowledgeable, warm and thorough. Answered all my questions and did a successful surgery.

Dr. Ho is my bro! He’s an amazing surgeon with a true sense of integrity. I feel safe with him. He has done my last three surgeries. All of them, complicated and needed a lot of attention. I got that from himself from Tyler from Andrew from Danielle. His office is incredibly supportive after surgeries and I would encourage anyone who’s having a crisis with their knee to go see Dr.Ho.
Considering the circumstances of my health, he was very helpful and caring!
