The reviews listed below were collected independently of Southern Oregon Orthopedics through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
Dr Ho addressing my pain directly, and I finally feel listened to, diagnosed throughly and properly.
Former PCP, did not refer me to orthopedics, x-ray that PCP ordered ( 1 yr prior) indicated degeneration, but the severity was not communicated, despite my complaints of pain. PT was ineffective due to the progress of my degeneration.
I feel fortunate that someone knowledgeable finally considered the images and communicated the results.
I feel relief and hope that alleviating pain is possible once again undergo SX and TX, and I can continue doing the things in life that bring me joy. I can be active again.
Dr Ho will make this possible and I feel grateful

He came into the room and said “I looked at your X-rays and you will need hip replacement in 2 yrs”. He didn’t say which hip or review what he was seeing in the X-ray. He did not test my mobility. He also stated that I would no longer be able to lead the active lifestyle I have after replacement, again without any explanation of why, or would I would be able to do. Very discouraging, I am seeking a different surgeon who is more willing to actually explain what he is seeing.
