Dr Guyton is quite honestly the best hip and knee doctor in the city. He took care of my husbands knees and now he’s taking care of my hip. I wouldn’t see anyone else but him.

As far as I’m concerned, Dr Guyton hangs the moon! I had the easiest, most comfortable hip replacement possible. I feel it’s due to his skill and experience. I was back to myself at a week and driving to PT at two weeks! He’s an incredible surgeon and I’ll be thankful to him forever. I was very frightened going in but he has such a calm, caring, gentle demeanor that I was at last comfortable with the process and it was a glorious success. Thank you Dr Guyton and Campbell Clinic for the most professional, efficient, amazing process anyone could ever ask for!

My RK has been giving me a lot of pain issues. The September shot may have lasted 45 days. I called and asked for Gabapentin for pain, it helps, but only a few hours. I set this appointment to get it x-rayed and a shot. I told 3 people, x-rays and a shot is why I was.there. All I got was a shot...I was over an hour past my appointment time. I heard people in the lobby filling out Ipads for Dr. Guyton so I knew they were going to be there a while so I didn't say anything, got my shot and was herded out... Next time, probably late January ill schedule an appointment and attempt to get the attention my RK needs.

Dr Guyton was so kind and was willing to perform both knee replacements in spite of my other medical issues. He was thorough and received medical clearance from PCP, Cardiologist, pulmonologist, and nephrologist before surgery on each knee; but he was very personable yet explained everything and allowed me to ask any questions in the times I was in the office.

Dr. Guyton is a top notch surgeon. He has replaced my hip and knee and I'm scheduling replacement of my other hip with him. The only problem is the wait. I often have to wait 1-3 hours past my appointment time to get checked. That's the only negative thing about him that I have found.

I had an appointment with Dr. Guyton today to schedule my first knee replacement. After that one heals, he will be replacing my other knee. He did both hip replacements on my husband, and he did a phenomenal job and followed up with him on a regular basis. I would not consider anyone but Dr. Guyton to do my knee replacements.

I had an anterior hip replacement less than 2 weeks ago and never experienced any pain post op! So I never required taking any pain meds at all. My recovery has been amazing and I even went out to dinner on day 3. I accredit Dr. Guyton and I may be his biggest fan.

Listens well, did a great job on my surgery

I did a lot of research and asked friends and family before my husband and I considered knee and hip replacements. Dr. Guyton same kept coming up over and over. He replaced both of my husband’s hips not long ago, and I would not have considered going to anyone else. My knees are in terrible shape and I have put off having them replaced for too long, But Dr. Guyton was very understanding and friendly and quite knowledgeable. I have an appointment to go back to see him about the first replacement in three months and as much as I I’m afraid of surgery, I know that he will do a wonderful job, and he is a very compassionate man.

I’m very thankful I have a dr of his ability. The knee he did was 20 yrs ago & have never had any problem with it.

Good visit. The PA Danielle was wonderful. The injection was virtually painless. The only thing I would mention is that I wish I had been given some written information about the injection medication and its possible side effects. That is something I would ask for in the future. I was in A-Fib for about 4 hours last night (I have the Kardia app) and researched and found it could be a side effect. I have never experienced that before. It is resolved this morning and my knee has little to no pain from the injection.

Dr. Guyton has replaced both of my knees, would recommend him highly.

I always feel at ease with Dr. Guyton. He takes the time to sit and listen to all my questions. He never seems in a hurry to move me along out of the office. I appreciate his expertise and explanation of the hip surgery procedure.

No mention of numerous Xrays taken or related info! No prescription suggested for Arthritic Knee or painful to touch Hip! Suggested other doctors do Injections. Left with same pain, no offer of meds, and two week wait for possible injections after waiting 4 months for the visit. Waist of time, hip pain on Xray tables, gave myself-rub in wait-room, standing little support taking many Xrays with none discussed! Out of $60! No discussion about my history with Dr. Stephen Brown, the injections, amount, did it help, how much used for pain. Thought it would be useful to know what happen on last 2 visits with Dr. Brown. No discussion of past history! Told him my HIP was in pain from lying on Right Hip (Primary) taking Xrays. Had to give self-rub down from terrible pain while waiting to see him. No comments, no questions, no meds offered. Hurting as we spoke!

This was my first visit with Dr. Guyton and I found him to be very knowledgeable and he listened and answered my questions very well. I am glad that I was referred to him! There was some reason that he was behind seeing patients, so the wait time was longer than expected, but his staff kept patients in the waiting room updated and Dr. Guyton apologized for the wait. I’m sure that this was unavoidable and Dr. Guyton and his staff spent an appropriate amount of time with me. All in all, a very good visit!
