He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. James Gilhool, D.O. is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Gilhool diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment for disorders of the spine. Through exercise and injections, Dr. Gilhool’s goal is to help restore function so patients can do daily activities and improve their independence.
Dr. Gilhool is also a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) treating Concussions. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and coaching lacrosse.
