Dr. James Gallentine was born and raised in Broken Bow, Nebraska, and received his undergraduate degree from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. He continued his schooling in Nebraska, receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. This was followed by an internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital & Clinics in Augusta, Georgia. He went on to complete a Fellowship Training for Surgery of the Foot and Ankle at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. In June 2010, Dr. Gallentine completed a Fellowship Training in Total Joint Replacement focusing on hip and knee replacement, primary and revisions at Wellington Hospital in Wellington, New Zealand.

Had anterior right hip surgery. Very efficient, knowledgeable and kind man. I highly recommend him

Dr. Gallentine was very nice and helpful.
Very disappointed He seems uninterested in your health issues and not proactive on treatment plan.procedure was excruciating as no numbing or anesthesia was offered or applied!
Knee replacement was completed without any issues and is heading nicely. I expect complete recovery.

He examined carefully and asked a lot of questions. Thorough research. He thought it was probably a back issue and not hips. Although hips probably need replaced. He referred me up a different Dr Have to admire a Dr who doesn't just want to do surgery right without exploring all possibilities first. Very nice bedside manner.
