I was impressed with the highly detailed and organized plan reflected in the paperwork sent home with me. It told me Dr Gallentine was good at his job. It gave me hope. Dr. Gallentine replaced my right hip three years ago. I only wanted him to be the one to replace my left. He is a fantastic doctor. His office even sent flowers to my room after my last surgery.

Dr. Gallentine is great. Back in May he referred me to a weight loss clinic and in five months I lost 90 lbs in order to be a candidate for surgery! He did my wife’s knee replacement surgery and we came back to him for mine!

He completely answered all of my questions about the possibility of an upcoming joint replacement surgery. It makes me more at ease knowing more about the procedure and all aspects leading up to it and all aspects after it.

I would like to see Dr. Gallentine provide more specific info about the surgery process itself. Perhaps ask the patient how much info, if any, they would like concerning the logistics and steps involved in the surgery. Overall, I am very pleased with the surgery, and the expertise of the surgeon and the medical staff.

He’s a very good surgeon, but intimidating. I didn’t feel heard. He didn’t ask a lot of questions to get to the issues of why I’m still hurting... just assumed it’s not HIS issue. At one point asked me why I’m moving slowly to get off the table... obviously, because it HUTS to move. I was very frustrated that I couldn’t communicate in terms he needed.

I was not expecting to see the doctor, only his assistant which was perfectly fine. However, he took the time to stop in to make sure I was feeling comfortable with upcoming surgery.

I could not ask for a better dr. I have referred more than one person to him and they all love him. He has you up and walking the same day as surgery.
