Dr. Gallentine replaced my right hip three years ago. I only wanted him to be the one to replace my left. He is a fantastic doctor. His office even sent flowers to my room after my last surgery.

Dr. Gallentine is great. Back in May he referred me to a weight loss clinic and in five months I lost 90 lbs in order to be a candidate for surgery! He did my wife’s knee replacement surgery and we came back to him for mine!

I would like to see Dr. Gallentine provide more specific info about the surgery process itself. Perhaps ask the patient how much info, if any, they would like concerning the logistics and steps involved in the surgery. Overall, I am very pleased with the surgery, and the expertise of the surgeon and the medical staff.

He’s a very good surgeon, but intimidating. I didn’t feel heard. He didn’t ask a lot of questions to get to the issues of why I’m still hurting... just assumed it’s not HIS issue. At one point asked me why I’m moving slowly to get off the table... obviously, because it HUTS to move. I was very frustrated that I couldn’t communicate in terms he needed.

Both the staff member at Nebraska Ortho was kicked off the call, as was I. So we just had to take care of via phone call, which was completely fine but the video call did not work, which is why the low rating. Otherwise, it was great!
