James Eaton, M.D.

Dr. James Eaton has been treating residents of Georgia at Urology of Greater Atlanta since it opened in 2004. His previous experience as a urologist in his residency and private practice includes successful treatment of thousands of patients for every urological condition, including: stones, female urological disorders and male infertility, to name just a few.

Dr. Eaton earned his MD at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. This allowed him to explore and fully gain knowledge from the Research Triangle where he began and completed his residency. Starting as a resident in the general and thoracic surgical department, Dr. Eaton transitioned into urology becoming a Chief Resident in 2000 at Duke University Medical Center.

In addition to publications in several medical journals, Dr. Eaton is a professional member of the American Urological Association, the American Board of Urology and the American College of Surgeons. He’s licensed in both North Carolina and Georgia while being certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Eaton relocated to Georgia in 2000 with the desire to bring his extensive education and experience to benefit the residents of Metro Atlanta. Serving in private practice as a urologist since 2000, he’s earned his reputation for giving the highest quality care he feels all patients deserve
